Last Wednesday I attended the Crush it seminar at Cinescape Layila Tower, lectured by Khalid Al-Zanki. To be honest at first I was kind of lost because I didn’t read the book and I missed the first meetup. But now since I’m almost done with the book everything started to fall into place, and I had a clear vision in my head on how I wanted to move forward from there.
Anyhow, for those of you who don’t know what “Crush It Seminar” is let me enlighten you. Crush It Seminar is based on a book called “Crush It! Why Now is the Time to Cash in on your Passion – By Gary Vaynerchuk”. The book focuses on utilizing new, free tools on the Internet to capitalize on branding and developing a business. And one of the major themes was becoming the foremost expert in your “passion”, by using social media and the Internet to promote yourself or brand.
Who is Gary Vaynerchuk? He is a video blogger, co-owner and director of operations at Wine Library in Springfield, NJ, and a public speaker on the subjects of social media, brand building, e-commerce and a book author.
